My name is Rosemary and this is my blog. I’ve been doing machine embroidery since 2007 and blogging since April 12, 2008 (to be exact). With little sewing experience (a $99 Brother sewing machine from Ebay), I bought an embroidery machine and taught myself how to use it. I started with a Brother PE700, then added a Brother PE750D, then much later traded the PE700 in for a used PR600, and not too long after that traded the PR600 and PE750D back in for a brand new PR650 which is my only machine now. I love my machine, have way too much fabric and who doesn’t love applique? I love picking out fabrics and putting colors together and most of all, designing. I also love helping people learn this crazy fun hobby and blogging about it. Wow that’s a lot of lovin!

Applique Cafe was born in August of 2009 and that’s where my husband (Jeff) & I sell our very own applique designs. We now have over 870 designs and add new ones almost every week.

In addition to our life of embroidery and applique, we have 3 growing-too-fast children who keep us on our toes! I’m blessed beyond measure to be able to stay home with them and do this as my job! You can contact me at rosemarygulledge@appliquecafe.com!
